Arriva Midlands

Transferred from Arriva Wales (Chester) are Optare Versas 998 and 999, now renumbered 2962 and 2963 and based at Tamworth. Transferred from Arriva North West are VDL SB200/Wright Pulsars 2698 (from Runcorn) and 2671 (from Green Lane), now numbered 3771 and 3772 and based at Telford. Similar 3728 has been withdrawn at Tamworth.

Optare Versa 2942 has transferred from Thurmaston to Shrewsbury, similar 2944-2946 have transferred from Oswestry to Shrewsbury.

Withdrawn and due for scrap at Telford are Optare Versas 2988, 2989 and 2993.

VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2s 3761 and 3762 have transferred from Oswestry to Arriva Wales (Chester) where they are numbered 3202 and 3203. Volvo B9TL/Optare Olympus 4106 has returned to Thurmaston from Oswestry following the closure of the depot there. Similar 4111 and 4112 have transferred to Telford. ADL Enviro 400 MMC 4524 was the last to leave Thurmaston for Arriva Southern Counties.

Repainted at Thurmaston out of Sapphire livery are VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2s 3799, 3800, 3802 and 3804.

Centrebus

Acquired and in use at Grantham is ADL Enviro 200 546 YW14FHT, in base white. Similar 554 in fleet livery has transferred from Centrebus South to Grantham.

Volvo B9TL/Wright Gemini 2s 924 and 925 have both received fleet livery at Grantham, where they are expected to remain instead of Leicester as originally planned.

D&G Bus

ADL Enviro 200s 4 and 123 at Crewe have both received a red and yellow diagonal livery for route 84X, operating in competition with Stagecoach.

Acquired and in use at Macclesfield is ADL Enviro 200 92 SN65OHB. Acquired from Ross Travel of Featherstone are Optare Solo SRs YJ59NNA and YD63UZH, now numbered 136 and 297, and in use at Macclesfield.

Diamond Bus

The following buses have been withdrawn following the arrival of Wright Streetdecks from Bolton.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urbans 30407, 30409, 30833 and 30834 at Tividale.
Optare Solo 30638 at Tividale.
MAN/Plaxton Centros 30802 and 30806 at Tividale.
Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centros 30807, 30808, and 30811 at Redditch.
ADL Enviro 300s 30878 and 30879 at Tividale.
Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointers 30888 at Redditch, and 30960 at Tividale.

Of these, 30638, 30878, 30879, 30929 and 30970 have passed to De-Luxe Coaches of Drakelow.

Former Little Gem VDL SB180/MCV Evolution 30703 is another to be allocated to Tividale and carries Brighter Diamond livery. Former Johnsons Optare MetroDeckers 40844 and 40845 have been repainted into Brighter Diamond livery at Redditch.

Wright Streetlite DFs 30169 and 30170 have transferred from Tividale to Redditch, and repainted out of West Midlands Bus livery into Brighter Diamond. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urbans 30850 and 30852 have transferred from Tividale to Redditch. Wright Streetlite DF 32225 has transferred from Redditch to Tividale, similar 32227 has transferred from Kidderminster to Tividale.

East Yorkshire

Enviro 200 505 has been taken out of service in preparation for transfer to Go North West.

First Midlands

Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 37148 was loaned to Worcester from First Cymru during May, although only saw two days use. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban 69370 has transferred to Worcester from First West Yorkshire (at Halifax). Withdrawn at Worcester are Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centros 66694 and 66699.

Now in use at East Midlands Airport is ADL Enviro 200 MMC YX21RVJ, numbered 44702 and last with Cardiff Bus.

Wright Streetlite DF 63347 is the first to leave Leicester following the entry into service of the Electroliners, now based at Adderley Green. Further Wright GB Kite Electroliners new and in service are 63505-508 and 63511.

Megabus/Joint Venture

Volvo B11Rs 54212/213/216/217 have transferred from Stagecoach Midlands at Rugby to the Stagecoach West Scotland Reserve Fleet at Cumbernauld, with similar 54215 transferring from Stagecoach South Wales to Stagecoach West Scotland at Cumbernauld,. Volvo B11R 54214 has transferred from Stagecoach South Wales at Cwmbran to Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird) at Aberdeen.

Van Hool Astromegas 50278 has been stood down at Stagecoach West Scotland (Cumbernauld) for repairs.

National Express West Midlands

Newport Bus Yutong E12 Z41 CE23ZGK was loaned to Coventry for a few weeks during May and was numbered 1908 for its stay.

Volvo B7RLEs 2087 and 2088 have transferred from Pensnett to Wolverhampton, with 2110 and 2111 going in the opposite direction. Dennis Trident 4539 has transferred from Wolverhampton to Yardley Wood. Further ADL Enviro 400s to leave Coventry are 4830 at Pensnett and 4839 at Wolverhampton. ADL Enviro 400s 4979-4982 at West Bromwich have been swapped with ADL Enviro 400 MMCs 6955-6958 at Wolverhampton.

Further buses are now losing route branding to aid allocation flexibility. So far rebranded into generic fare branding are Perry Barr based ADL Enviro 400s 4815, 4823, 4824, 4846, 4849 and 4850, as well as ADL Enviro 400 MMC 6816 at Perry Barr and 6860, 6861 at Birmingham Central. These carried branding for routes 7, 101, 33, X3/4/5 and 23/24 respectively.

Now delivered for Coventry are BYD ADL Enviro 400 EVs E141, 146, 147, 150, 156, 158, 159, 160, 162 and 163.

Recently buses sent for scrap are Volvo B7TL/ALX400s 4245, 4253, 4271 and 4284, as well as Dennis Tridents 4459, 4540 and 4542.

Sold to Birmingham Bus Works for resale are Dennis Tridents 4571 and 4573, as well as Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Geminis 4505, 4665 and 4668.
4665 has passed with former 4666 to Fowlers Travel, whilst former 4671 has passed to Fourway Coaches.

Recently sent for scrap are ADL Enviro 200 2 (SN56AYB) and DAF SB200/Wright Commander 25 (FJ06ZTE). Withdrawn is Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer 27 (FJ55BWD).

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

MAN/Enviro 300 22884 has been withdrawn and is for disposal whilst similar 22609 has transferred from Carlisle to Morecambe. Enviro 300s 27224/225 have moved from Morecambe to Carlisle. Dart SLF 34715 has now returned to service at Carlisle.

Vehicles sold are Routemaster 19986, MAN/Enviro 300 22761, Dart SLF 35192 and Optare Solo 47474. Withdrawn for disposal is training Dart SLF 34711 at Barrow.

Transferred from Stagecoach East Scotland is Optare Solo 47392, which will replace withdrawn 47135 at Barrow.

Stagecoach East

Now in service at Cambridge are Volvo BZLs 86001-026 - which can be found operating on the city’s network of park and ride services.

The first vehicles to be identified for cascade as a result of the entry into service of the new Volvo BZLs at Cambridge are Scania/Enviro 400s 15456-463, which will be heading to Stagecoach East Scotland.

Volvo B7RLEs 21225/226 are being placed on loan to Dews Coaches for use on the 904 Huntingdon-Peterborough service, which Dews are operating under contract to Stagecoach East from Tuesday 30th May 2023.

Volvo B8R/MCV 21365 has returned to Fenstanton by late April 2023 following major collision repairs. Also back in the main fleet at Fenstanton are Volvo B7RLEs 21230 and 21235. Moved to the Reserve Fleet at Cambridge are Enviro 300 27642 and Scania/Enviro 400 15465.

Now repainted into ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400 MMC 10866 and 10868.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Enviro 400 19305 is back in service at Lincoln following major repairs. The planned transfer of Enviro 400MMC 11275 from Lincoln to Mansfield was cancelled and 11274 was transferred in its place; with King’s Coronation-branded 10978 moving from Mansfield to Lincoln.

Seasonal Reserve Volvo B7TLs 16939/944 have moved into to the main fleet at Skegness allowing Volvo B7RLEs 21261/262 to transfer to Scunthorpe. In turn former Road Car B7RLEs 21211/215 at Scunthorpe have moved to the Reserve Fleet.

Enviro 200MMCs 26255/265/268/271273 have moved from Hull to Grimsby, with Enviro 300s 27201-205/880-882 and Enviro 200 37198 moving from Grimsby to Hull.

Transferred from Lincoln to Skegness are Scania/Enviro 400 15653 and Enviro 400s 19018/317/318. These have allowed Volvo B7RLEs 21256-260 to transfer to Grimsby, with Enviro 300s 27790/794/795 and Enviro 200s 37205/206 moving from Grimsby to Lincoln.

Transferring into the Reserve Fleet are MAN/Enviro 300s 22772-775/777/778/796/799/800/831 at Hull and Enviro 200 37199 at Grimsby. Trident 18432 will return to the main fleet at Lincoln. Trident/ALX400 17717 and 17730 have transferred from Mansfield to Lincoln, whilst also at Mansfield Transbus Enviro 300 27594 is due to join the Reserve Fleet.

Dart SLF training buses 34461/475 are being taken out of use at Lincoln for transfer to Stagecoach West. Dart SLFs 34426 and 35129 from Lincoln; Trident 18044 from Gainsborough; Volvo B7RLE 21214 from Skegness and MAN/Enviro 300 22764 from Hull are now for disposal. Enviro 200s 36002/006 have passed to GTG Training, with 36003 being scrapped.

Stagecoach East Scotland

With the AB1 autonomous bus service now in operation - Enviro 200MMCs 62001-004 (previously numbered 26326-329) are allocated to Dunfermline.

Sold to North West Bus Sales are Volvo B13Rs 54124/125/127/128/129 whilst Optare Versa 25264 has been sold to Moffat and Williamson. The company reports the scrapping of Volvo B7TL 16930 and Mercedes/Plaxton Beaver 59618.

Included in recent planned transfers are Trident 18509 and Volvo B9R 53720 from Perth to Blairgowrie with Optare Solo 47226 moving from Perth to Dunfermline and Enviro 200 36194 to Aberhill. Volvo B13R 54112, Enviro 300 27545 and Optare Solo 47235 have transferred Aberhill to Glenrothes. Other Enviro 300s transfers are 27546 (now at Peth), 27128 (now at Dunfermline), and 27605/606 (at Blairgowrie). Optare Solo 47485 is now officially allocated to St Andrews and 47332 to Dunfermline.

Transferred here from Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird) are Optare Solo SRs 47875/876 and MAN/Enviro 300 22572.

Stagecoach London

Further conversions underway to open top for City Sightseeing work are Scania Omnicity 15016/019 and Enviro 400s 19757-762.

A number of Enviro 200s are being prepared/in use for route learning; 36280 at Catford, 36282 at Bromley, 36286 at Plumstead, 36289 at Rainham, 36290 at Romford, 36292 at Ash Grove, 36296 at Barking, 36298 at West Ham and 36345 at Leyton. On loan to the training school are Enviro 200 36370 at Barking and Enviro 200MMC 37551 at Rainham.

Enviro 200 36295 has been sold to T Wigley (Dealer) whilst awaiting disposal are Enviro 400H 12321/372, Enviro 200 36544 and Enviro 200 MMC 37530.

Stagecoach Manchester

Transferred into the Reserve Fleet are Enviro 400H 12024/027/028/029/030/031/087/088, Optare Solos 47649/650 and Optare Solo SR 48024. Enviro 400 19408 is for disposal, whilst fire-damaged Enviro 400H 12020 has been sold to PVS (Dealer).

Transferred to Stockport are Enviro 400s 19409/412/414/417 from Hyde Road, along with Enviro 200 37146 from Middleton and 37149 from Ashton. Enviro 200s 36784/785 have transferred from Wigan to Middleton and Solo SR 48025 from Stockport to Ashton.

MAN/Enviro 300 22742 (transferred from Stagecoach East Midlands) is now seeing use as a training vehicle at Hyde Road, whilst repainted into ‘Local’ livery is Enviro 400H 12197.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

Repainted into a yellow, blue and pink livery to promote the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool is Enviro 400 MMC 10814.

Enviro 300s 27888/889/890 have transferred from Preston to Chester, with 27298/299/300 taking their place at Preston.

Stagecoach Midlands

Further Enviro 300s transferred from Stagecoach West Scotland is 27211/213/215/222/228.

Enviro 200s 37060/070/072 are now at Leamington having released 36945/946/947 for transfer to Rugby. Back in service at Rugby after completion of accident repairs is Enviro 200 36207. Transferred from Nuneaton to Kettering is Enviro 200 36164, whilst Trident 18101 has now been stood down at Kettering. A further Dart withdrawn is 35222.

The remains of Trident 18104 have been sold to A H Hardwick.

Stagecoach North East

Disposals to Alpha Recovery have been Scania Omnilink 24002, Dart 35263, MAN/ALX300 22424 and MAN/Enviro 200s 39672/673/675/706. MAN/ALX300 22026 has been sold for preservation. MAN/ALX300s 22062/063 are now for disposal.

Now at South Shields are Enviro 200 36960 and MAN/Enviro 200s 39711/715. Enviro 200s moving from South Shields are 37313 to Slatyford and 37314 to Walkergate. MAN/Enviro 300 22890 is at Stockton following repairs. MAN/Enviro 200 39667 is now for disposal being replaced at Hartlepool with 39727 from Sunderland. Enviro 300 27632 has transferred from South Shields to Sunderland in exchange for 27739.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Volvo B9R 53641 has been sold to Moffat & Williamson.

Enviro 200 37253 is another of the type to be allocated to Peterhead.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Volvo B9R training vehicle 53617 has been reported by the company as transferred to Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird).

Volvo B9R 53702 has officially transferred to the Reserve Fleet.

Stagecoach South

Former Stagecoach Manchester Enviro 200MMC 26142 has received ‘Local’ livery and has been reported as being at Chichester

Enviro 200 departures from Guildford are 36022 to Portsmouth and 36036 to Chichester. Trident 18084 moves from Winchester to Chichester and Enviro 400 19097 from Chichester to Portsmouth. Enviro 200s 36433/434 have transferred from Andover to Winchester in exchange for Optare Solos 47312 and 47539.

Now for disposal are Enviro 200 36052, and Optare Solos 47046/740.

Repainted into ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400s 19071 and 19884.

Stagecoach South East

New Enviro 400MMCs here and for Folkestone are 11603-606 (SK23COJ/COU/CPE/CPF).

Mercedes Sprinters on hire from London Hire and now at Eastbourne are 44062-065 (believed to be LX23BYD/AGV/AHX/AJO). Scania Omnicity 15090 is now at Herne Bay whilst Optare Solo 47177 at Dover is stood down for repairs.

Scania OmniCity training bus 15033 is allocated to Herne Bay with similar 15037 at Thanet.

Dart SLF 34441 has transferred from Thanet to Dover; Enviro 300 27919 from Eastbourne to Hastings and Scania/Enviro 400 15552 from Herne Bay to Hastings. Trident 18331 at Ashford is now for disposal and has been replaced by 18174 transferred from Thanet.

Dart SLFs withdrawn are 34492 and 35101 (35101 is earmarked for a charity donation).

Stagecoach South West

Optare Solo SR 48032 now carries ‘Local’ livery and has entered service at Exeter. Further repaints into ‘Local’ livery are Scania/Enviro 400 MMC 15314, Scania/Enviro 400 15898, Enviro 200 37113, Enviro 200 MMC 37476, Optare Solo SR 48004 and 48007.

Stagecoach West

Following allocation of Dart SLF training buses 34461/475 to Oxford, MAN/ALX300 trainers 22416/418 are for disposal. Another Enviro 400H taken out of service and now for disposal is 12006. Van Hool Astromega 50267 is no longer recorder by the company and is presumed sold. Optare Solo 47297 is now in reserve at Cheltenham, with Enviro 200 MMC 37264 now back in the main fleet.

It is understood Enviro 300s 27212/213/219 are expected to transfer from Gloucester to Banbury.

Scania/Enviro 400 15976 at Swindon now carries ‘Pride’ livery.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Now in the reserve fleet here are Scania/Enviro 300s 28663/664/666/669/670 from Dumfries, whilst Enviro 200MMCs 37482/483/486-495 have transferred from Ayr to Cumbernauld. Volvo B9R 53711 is a transfer from Dumfries to Stranraer in exchange for Volvo B13R 54107.

BYD/Enviro 200EVs 64001-007/009-015 have moved from Kilmarnock to Ayr, with the new Volvo BZLs now being allocated to Kilmarnock.

Optare Solo 47612 at Ardrossan is now in the Reserve Fleet, being replaced by Solo SR 47838 from Kilmarnock. Optare Solo 47627 at Ayr is now in the Reserve Fleet, being replaced by Solo SR 47843 from Kilmarnock. Transferred from Kilmarnock to Ayr is Enviro 200 37251 whilst Enviro 200MMCs 37484/445 have departed Ayr and are now at Cumbernauld.

Accident damaged Trident 18369 has been written off.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Scania/Enviro 400s 15664/666 move from Barnsley to Ecclesfield in exchange for Enviro 400s 19033/35.

Former Stagecoach East Midlands Dart SLF training vehicles 34473/474 are allocated to Ecclesfield. MAN/ALX300 training bus 22084 is allocated to Rawmarsh.

Ferrymill Motors Enviro 200 FM36 is currently on loan and allocated to Rawmarsh.

Scania/Levante coaches 59227/228 are receiving National Express livery prior to joining the National Express fleet based at Chesterfield.

Wellglade Group

At Trentbarton, Optare Solo 462 is now back in service.
