A number of Stagecoach divisions are currently adorning their vehicles in red, white and blue liveries to commemorate the upcoming coronation of King Charles III. Arriva Midlands

Optare Versa 2979 has transferred from Thurmaston to Wycombe. Volvo B9TL/Optare Olympus 4111, formerly in Crosville NBC livery, has been repainted into journey mark and transferred from Oswestry to Telford. Further ADL Enviro 400 MMCs to transfer to Arriva Southern Counties are 4510, 4511, 4514 and 4515. Similar 4531, 4532 and 4534 still based at Thurmaston have received journey mark livery.

Now withdrawn are Optare Versa 2994 from Telford, and VDL DB250/Wright Geminis 4755 and 4758 at Thurmaston.

Centrebus

The latest repaints into the latest fleet livery is ADL Enviro 200 509 at Grantham.

ADL Enviro 200 510 from Leicester has been exchanged with Scania Omnilink 727 from High Peak.

Acquired for use at Leicester on route 22 are Volvo B9TL/Wright Gemini 2s 924 (GX09ZZS) and 925 (GX09ZZT), which are being repainted out of Yellow Buses livery before use in Leicester. Covering for them is ADL Enviro 400 912 from Grantham.

D&G Bus

Acquired for use at Crewe on former Arriva services are 90 (YX16ODG) and 91 (YX16ODJ). Both are in dealer white and were previously used at Heathrow Airport.

Optare Solo 124 has transferred from Adderley Green to Cannock. ADL Enviro 200s 504-506 and 530-532 have transferred from Centrebus to Crewe, to operate the former Arriva services.

New at Chaserider at Cannock is 542 (YX23OTE), another ADL Enviro 200 MMC for Travel Telford services.

Diamond

Recently sent for scrap are Optare Solos 20732 and 20839. Now withdrawn at Tividale is the last Mini Pointer Dart 21108, with Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro 30807 withdrawn at Redditch.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban 30813 and Wright Streetlite DF 32227 have transferred from Tividale to Kidderminster, whilst Wright Streetlites 32229, 32231 and 32232 have transferred to Tividale.

Following service reductions in Manchester, Wright Streetdecks 40818/819/820/824/826/827/829/830/831/832/832/835/841 have transferred here to Tividale, whilst 40836/837/838/839/842 are at Redditch. They are largely restricted to routes 002 or 16A and 50 respectively. A small number of the Redditch examples were operated with their 36/37 branding for a few days, but this has since been removed.

Now withdrawn at Burton are former Midland Classic Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 30905 and VDL DB250/Wright Geminis 40633 and 40634.

14 former Little Gem buses have been acquired, comprising ADL Enviro 200s 30700 (LJ09KPA), 30701 (LJ09KPX), 30702 (LJ09KPO), 30707 (LJ09KOX), 30708 (LJ09KPE), 30709 (LJ09KPF), 30710 (YX59BYJ), 30711 (YX59BYP), 30712 (YX59BYM) and 30713 (YX59BYN), and VDL SB180/MCV Evolutions 30703 (YJ62JWL), 30704 (YJ62JWF), 30705 (YJ62JXG) and 30706 (YJ62JXW). Of these 30704, 30709 and 30713 have so far been allocated to Tividale for West Midlands use, with 30709 already carrying Brighter Diamond livery.

East Yorkshire

Open Top Volvo B7TLs 889-896; Enviro 200s 285, 378/379/380/389 have been relicensed and are allocated to Scarborough.

Enviro 200MMCs 279 and 280 have transferred from Scarborough to Pocklington and will receive ‘York Locals’ branding. Enviro 200MMC 511 has transferred from Hull to Withernsea (and will receive ‘Hornsea Locals’ branding(, whilst similar 514 has transferred from Withernsea to Pocklington.

Transferred from Scarborough are Enviro 200s 376 (to Hull) and 503 (to Bridlington), whilst similar 502 at Bridlington is now delicensed. Volvo B8RLE/MCVs 382/383 have moved from Hull to Scarborough and Volvo B9TL 763 has transferred from Bridlington to Hull. Enviro 200 285 is temporarily in use at Hull.

First Midlands

Acquired for use on the East Midlands Airport Contract here are ADL Enviro 200s 44761 (YX18KYA), 44762 (YX18KYC) and 44763 (YX18KYF). They carry subtle branding on their dealer white livery.

Wright Streetlite DFs 63109 and 63110 have transferred in from First Hampshire & Dorset, now based at Leicester and Adderley Green respectively. ADL Enviro 300s 67703 and 67705 from First South West, are also in use at Leicester on the East Midlands Airport contract. They retain their base Coaster and Quantock Line liveries.

Now in the process of delivery at Leicester are the 68 Wright GB Kite Electroliners with 63501, 502 and 503 delivered so far. They carry an allover green based livery with Leicester Electric branding, similar to other Electric buses already in use in the city.

Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Volvo B11Rs 54264/265 have transferred from Stagecoach West (North Bristol) to Stagecoach Midlands (Rugby). Volvo B11Rs 54269/270 have transferred from Stagecoach West (North Bristol) to Stagecoach South Wales (Cwmbran).

National Express West Midlands

Scania Omnilink 1949 has transferred back to West Bromwich from Yardley Wood. Volvo B7RLEs 2110 and 2111 have transferred from Walsall to Wolverhampton, whilst 2063, 2064, 2065 and 2066 are further examples to join the training fleet from Wolverhampton. Dennis Trident 4617 has transferred from Birmingham Central to Yardley Wood. Further ADL Enviro 400s to leave Coventry are 4773 for West Bromwich, 4835 for Pensnett and 4840 for Wolverhampton. ADL Enviro 400 MMCs 6104 and 6105 have transferred from Pensnett to Acocks Green, reuniting the entire batch of these at one depot.

Now in for repaint are Volvo B7RLE 2171 from Coventry, ADL Enviro 200 MMC 2201 from Acocks Green, and ADL Enviro 400 4940 from Birmingham Central.

Further withdrawals are Dennis Tridents 4386, 4551, 4580 and 4587 from Yardley Wood, 4370 from Coventry, and 4441 from Wolverhampton, as well as Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Geminis 4643, 4658 and 4659 from Acocks Green.

Recently sent for scrap are Volvo B7TL/ALX400s 4244, 4281 and 4420, and Dennis Tridents 4428, 4433, 4560, 4577, 4583, 4584, 4592 and 4633.

Further BYD ADL Enviro 400 EVs to be delivered for Coventry are E074, 094, 104, 110, 111, 126, 134, 137, 138, 143, 147, 151, 152 and 157. ADL are now also building the new batch destined for use in the West Midlands fleet.

Wright Streetlite DF SR13BOF has been acquired, last with Docherty’s Midland Coaches. It has replaced former Arriva Midlands Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer FJ55BWA, also taking fleetnumber 1.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

New ‘Lakes Connection’ liveried Enviro 400 MMCs 11571-579 are now in service at Kendal. It is expected that displaced Enviro 400 MMCs 10552-558 will move to Barrow and 10559/560 to Morecambe. Scania/Enviro 400s 15697/698/700/721/722/723 are expected to transfer to West Cumbria from Barrow. Enviro 400 10015 now carries red and blue ‘Kings Coronation’ livery.

Enviro 200 MMC 26141 is now at West Cumbria. Reserve Fleet MAN/Enviro 300 22596 is now allocated to Morecambe with Reserve Fleet Optare Solo SR 48002 back in service at West Cumbria. MAN/Enviro 300 22609 has transferred from Morecambe to Carlisle, with similar 22883 moving to Stagecoach North East.

Transferred to the Cumbria fleet is roof-damaged Enviro 400 19574 from Stagecoach East. It will be converted to open top and join 19161 at West Cumbria. Once completed it will replace one of the remaining open top ALX400-bodied Tridents. Seasonal Reserve Fleet vehicles returned to service are Volvo open top 13801/802/803/805 along with Enviro 200 36100 and Optare Solo 47237 at Kendal and open top Tridents 17489/90 at West Cumbria. Open Top Trident/President 17692 is now at Penrith for Summer 508 workings.

Trident/ALX400s18330/356/364/366/380/381 have now been taken out of service here, 18330/356/364/381 have gone on loan to Stagecoach Yorkshire, whilst 18366/380 are now for disposal. Also now for disposal are MAN/Enviro 300 22597/761, Dart SLF 35192, and Optare Solos 47239/474/730.

Stagecoach East

Volvo BZL vehicles due soon for Cambridge will have fleet numbers 86001-30, with the first 12 vehicles due to carry registrations BV23NPZ, NRE/F/J/K/L/N/O/U/X/Y/Z. 86002/03 are confirmed to now be at Cowley Road depot in Cambridge for driver and engineers training.

Enviro 200 36064 has left this fleet for Stagecoach South East. Short Enviro 200 36306 has returned to Bedford depot after external repairs.

Enviro 400 MMCs 10867 and 10870 have been repainted into ‘Local’ livery. Now in the paintshop is similar 10868.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Enviro 400MMC 11192 at Hull and 10978 from Mansfield have been repainted into ‘The King’s Coronation’ (blue/red/white version of ‘Local’ livery).

Enviro 300s transferred to Grimsby are 27189 and 27757 (from Scunthorpe), 27195 and 27196 (from Skegness), 27790, 27795, 27880 and 27881 (from Gainsborough), and 27794 (from Lincoln). Transferred from Grimsby are Enviro 200s 37187 and 37188 (to Worksop), 37189-192 (to Gainsborough), and 37195 and 37208 (to Scunthorpe). Volvo B7RLE 21263 has been stood down at Grimsby after sustaining accident damage, with Enviro 400 19189 transferred on loan from Hull to cover.

Scania/Enviro 400 15651 has been reinstated from the Reserve Fleet to the main fleet at Lincoln. Trident 18024 has transferred from Lincoln to Worksop, whilst similar 18031 is now for disposal. Enviro 400 19130 has transferred from Hull to Gainsborough as a replacement for Trident/President 18026 which is now for disposal. Also for disposal are Volvo B7RLE 21216 from Skegness and Dart SLF 34848 from Grimsby. Enviro 400MMC 10978 has transferred from Mansfield to Lincoln in exchange for 11275.

Repairs have been completed on Enviro 400 19305 and it has been repainted into ‘Local’ livery ahead of a return to service. Scania/Enviro 400 15651 has been repainted back into ‘Proud to be part of Lincolnshire’ livery (an all over blue/red/yellow/green Lincolnshire Flag).

Now delicensed is Enviro 200 37197, which has extensive damage.

A further Dart SLF training bus for transfer out of this fleet to Stagecoach Yorkshire is 34473, with similar 34703 now at Stagecoach South East, and training fleet MAN/Enviro 300 22742 has transferred to Stagecoach Manchester.

Sold and no longer part of the fleet are Volvo B7TLs 16910/920, Enviro 200s 36001/005, and Dart SLFs 34572 and 35136/141/143/145/148/149. Dart SLF 35128 has been donated to a gliding club.

Stagecoach East Scotland

Sold to Ensign are Optare Versas 25261 and 25263, whilst similar 25264 has passed to Dreamline Travel. Sold to M & S Parton are Trident 18092; Enviro 400 19151; Optae Versas 25210/211/212; Enviro 300s 27541/549; Optare Solos 47233/362/364/610/611; Optae Solo SR 47948 and Mercedes-Benz 59619.

New electric vehicles into service are; BYD/Enviro 400s 14070 (at Perth) and 14071 (at Dunfermline), BYD/Enviro 300s 29119-121/123/125 (at Perth) · BYD/Enviro 200s 30020-029 (at Dunfermline), and 30030-032 (at Perth).

Tridents 18389/390 have transferred from Dunfermline to Rennies displacing 18508/509 for transfer to Perth. Departing Perth are Scania/Enviro 400 15815 to Dunfermline and Enviro 200s 37083/084/085 to St Andrews.

Enviro 300s departing Glenrothes are 27126/127 (to Dunfermline) and 27128 to Arbroath, whilst departing from the Dunfermline fleet are Enviro 200s 36193/194 (to Arbroath) and 36423 (to St Andrews). Enviro 200s 36741/744 have transferred from St Andrews to Aberhill. Volvo B9R 53719/720/721 have transferred from Blairgowrie to Perth with Volvo B13R 54109 returning to service at Perth and Volvo B11R 54358 returning to Glenrothes. Following repairs E200MMC 26114 has returned to Aberhill.

Optare Solo 47367 has been reallocated from Arbroath to Glenrothes and Solo SR 47873 from Arbroath to Perth, which have been replaced at Arbroath with 47942/943 from Dunfermline. Volvo B11R 54360 is now part of the Megabus/Citylink Joint Venture fleet and based at Rennies. Enviro 300 27549 has been deemed unsuitable for conversion to a training bus and 27527 will now be converted instead. Recent training bus conversion 27528 is allocated to Arbroath.

Enviro 400MMC 11255 has been repainted into a predominantly red livery with blue front and rear, with King’s Coronation branding.

Reported as being earmarked for transfer to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire are Enviro 200s 36781, 37148 and 37150 along with Enviro 300s 27624/625/826/827 (all are from the Reserve Fleet). Training Fleet MAN/Enviro 300 22742 has transferred here from Stagecoach East Midlands.

Optare Solo SR 47825, which had been authorised for disposal has been returned to service at Stockport. Departing this fleet, after being sold for scrap, is Optare Solo 47619.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

Arrivals here from Stagecoach East have been of short Enviro 200s 36301 and 36302, and Enviro 300s 27520 and 27522. Of these, 27522 and 36301 have been allocated to Gilmoss. Now at Chester, are Enviro 300s 27292/298-300.

Former Megabus Scania/Levante coaches 59227/228 have transferred to Stagecoach Yorkshire.

Enviro 400MMC 10565 has received Coronation livery and branding, whilst Scania/Enviro 400 15566 now carries ‘Local’ livery.

Stagecoach Midlands

Enviro 300 27212/217/218/220/221 have transferred from Stagecoach West Scotland with further examples of the same batch also due to move to the Midlands fleet. 27221 is currently at Nuneaton, with the rest at Rugby (as of 2nd May).

Further Dart SLFs for disposal are 34425, 35175 and 35222. ALX400-bodied Trident 18104 from Leamington is delicensed with fire damage. Scania Omnidekka 15401 has been sold, by Ensign, to Horizon, Brighton - whilst now withdrawn are similar 15403 and 15404.

Repainted into ‘Local’ livery are Scania/Enviro 300s 28623 and 28628.

Stagecoach North East

Open top Tridents that have recently received Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are 17239 and 17240. MAN/ALX300 training bus 22065 has received training livery

Transferred from South Shields to Walkergate are Enviro 200s 37312/315-319 with 36961-964 moving from Walkergate to South Shields. Enviro 300 has transferred from 27248 from Stockton to Slatyford.

MAN/Enviro 300 22874 has been transferred here from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire, and is allocated to Stockton. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44039 is on short-term loan from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire, being used at Stockton to provide cover for the Tees Flex DRT operation.

Further MAN/Enviro 200s now for disposal are 39702 and 39712. Vehicles sold are MAN/ALX300s 22024/064/080 and MAN/Enviro 200 39666. Further MAN/ALX300s sold to Alpha Recovery are 22067/068/342/343/348/410.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland is Optare Solo 47257. Former Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands) Enviro 200s 36200/2052

Sold to Moffatt & Williamson are Optare Solo 47178, and Volvo B9Rs 53642 and 53644. Enviro 400 19378 has been written off following fire damage.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Now allocated to Inverness are Volvo B9R 53628 from the Reserve Fleet and Volvo B8R/MCV 21398 from Orkney,

Of note - Volvo B11Rs 54362/363 are allocated to Skye; Enviro 300 27537 to Tain and Volvo B9R 53706 and Volvo B13Rs 541361/37 to Caithness. Optare Solo SR 47749 remains in the Reserve Fleet. Reserve Fleet Volvo B13R 54121 is now allocated to Inverness. Scania/Enviro 300 28644 has returned to Inverness after completion of extensive collision repairs at Ferrymill Motors.

Stagecoach South

Enviro 400 MMC 10700 has been given a retro livery in the style of the Hampshire Bus Livery to celebrate 40 Years of Hampshire Bus, whilst Trident 18188 now carries ‘Local’ livery.

Enviro 200s 36051/055 have transferred from Basingstoke to Aldershot. Trident 18188 at Andover, along with similar 18443 at Aldershot and Enviro 400 19159 at Winchester, are now back in service from reserve. Enviro 400 MMC 10894 is out of service after sustaining collision damage.

Stagecoach South East

Transferred to Herne Bay is 36899.

Another Scania OmniCity to be earmarked for conversion to a training vehicle is 15033.

Trident 18530 has been withdrawn and is being donated to the Bromley Bus Preservation Group. Vehicle sold are Tridents 18080/161/168, Enviro 300 27577, Darts 34440/482/498/542/650/655/659/697/771/779/789/791 and 35102, Enviro 300 36327, and Optare Solos 47066/067/110/112/115/375/663/666/679/683 to Ensign, and Dart SLF 34434 to T Wigley.

Stagecoach South West

Vehicles sold are Optare Solos 47084 and 47444.

Stagecoach West

Further Enviro 400MMCs to transfer from Swindon to North Bristol are 10985/986/987, which have been exchanged for Tridents 18420/421/422. Scania/Enviro 400s 15736 and 15966 are reported as moving from North Bristol to Oxford in exchange for 15762 and 15767. Transferred from Stroud to Cheltenham have been Scania/Enviro 400s 15880 and 15977. Now at Stroud from North Bristol are Trident 18156 and Enviro 400 19186. Enviro 200 36330 is now at Swindon (from North Bristol).

Transferred here from Stagecoach South are Scania/Enviro 400s 15982-986.

No longer detailed by the company and believed sold are Enviro 400H Hybrids 12001/011/013, Trident 18448 and Dart SLF 34786.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Volvo B9R 53733 is now allocated to Stranraer whilst Enviro 300 27220 has returned to service at Ayr.

New Volvo BZL/MCV EVs allocated to Kilmarnock are 66001/002/003.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Enviro 400H Hybrid 12167 has returned to service at Holbrook following major repairs, whilst similar 12044 (which was acquired from Stagecoach Manchester for component recovery) has been sold to PVS (dealer).

Enviro 200 36457 has transferred from Rawmarsh to Ecclesfield, but similar 37108 from Barnsley is now for disposal.

Wellglade Group

Optare Solo 462 FE02 KFL has moved from Langley Mill to Sutton Junction and is being prepped for its return to service.
