Blands of Stamford

The two former Stagecoach Volvo B9R/Plaxton Panther coaches sold to Blands have been re-registered from KX58NBJ/K to XIL7321 and HIL9272. These carried fleet numbers 53601/602 with Stagecoach.

East Yorkshire

Volvo B7TL 671 was relicensed on 16th November 2020 and has been allocated to Scarborough.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Now sold from this fleet are former driver trainer Volvo B10M/Alexander PS 20893, and Optare Solo 47057.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, 44008/050-052/054 have been relicensed and allocated to West Cumbria. Transferred from West Cumbria to Carlisle are Volvo B10M/Alexander PS ‘Schoolrunner’ 20710 and Enviro 200 36422.

Now removed from traffic and in preparation for disposal are Optare Solos 47004/007/055 from Kendal, along with Dart SLFs 35246/248/249 and Optare Solo 47453 from West Cumbria. Dart SLFs 34719 (from Kendal) and 35192 (from Barrow) have been transferred to Morecambe.

Stagecoach East

After the collision involving Volvo B8L/Enviro 400XLB 13912, Fenstanton depot has received Scania/Enviro 400 MMC 15291 as cover. The damaged vehicle has been moved to ADL at Harlow.

Reserve fleet Dart SLF 34827 was noted in use as a staff shuttle vehicle between Fenstanton depot and Huntingdon Bus Station on 16th November.

Transferred back to the region are three Darts SLFs, 34537 from Stagecoach Oxfordshire, and 34771/773 from Stagecoach Midlands. All three are currently at Fenstanton depot, and were unused during their time away. Enviro 300 27642 did not transfer to Cambridge last month, remaining at Bedford. Out of service following accident damage is Volvo B11R/Plaxton Elite 54304.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Latest repaints into ‘local’ livery here are Worksop based Scania/Enviro 300 28614, and Mansfield based MAN/Enviro 200 39678. Also now in the ‘local’ livery is Hull allocated Enviro 400 MMC 10748, which completes this batch of vehicles into the new livery.

Currently at Lincoln for repaint is Gainsborough allocated Dart SLF 35130, which is in the early stages of ‘local’ livery being applied. Lincoln allocated Enviro 400 19295 is also in the early stages of being repainted. It is believed that Grimsby allocated Enviro 200 37197 will be the next in their fleet to gain the new colours.

Stagecoach Manchester

Enviro 400 19622 has returned to service at Stockport, allowing Dennis Trident/ALX400 18361 to transfer to Sharston. This has displaced similar 18357 to the reserve fleet. From Middleton, Enviro 400s 19190/191 are also now in the reserve fleet here.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

Now delicensed here are the three open Dennis Trident/ALX400s, 17470/479/502, at Chester.

Stagecoach Midlands

Returned to Stagecoach East are Dart SLFs 34771/773. It is also understood that Optare Solo 47408 could be returned to service, however requires a major component exchange, and for now remains parked at the former Corby outstation.

Three MAN/Enviro 300s are still out of service here for repairs, 22838/839 at Leamington and 22835 at Northampton.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Transferred from Macduff to Aberdeen is Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44024, whilst Volvo B10M training coach 52621 is now out of use and awaits disposal. The company has confirmed that all three Volvo B12B training coaches, 53107/10/12, are allocated to Peterhead for maintenance.

Stagecoach Oxfordshire

It has recently been confirmed that the amount of new Volvo B11RLE/Plaxton Panorama coaches due for Oxford Tube will be cut, with up to a third of the planned 34 strong fleet expected to be diverted elsewhere within the company. This is following reduced patronage on the Oxford Tube service. The first of the new vehicles have been delivered and driver training has commenced.

Further Volvo B11RLE/Plaxton Panorama deliveries from ADL/Plaxton at Scarborough have been 50424/425 on 13th November.

Authorised for disposal during October/November are Volvo B10M/Alexander PS 20933, formerly a training vehicle, along with Dart SLF 34468 and Optare Solo 47736. Driver training MAN/Alexander ALX300 22418 has been delicensed.

Stagecoach South

Dart SLF 35117 has been transferred from Portsmouth to Aldershot, to replace Optare Solo 47536 which has been withdrawn. Enviro 200s 36438/837/838 have transferred from the main fleet to the reserve fleet at Guildford, and Enviro 400 19079 has transferred from Andover to Winchester.

Now in the new ‘local’ livery here is Guildford allocated Enviro 200 36839.

Stagecoach South East

ADL Enviro 400MMC 10701 has transferred from Hastings to Herne Bay in exchange for Scania/Enviro 400MMC 15290, whilst in a similar exchange 10713 has transferred from Folkestone to Herne Bay in exchange for similar 15289.

Former Stagecoach East Trident 18412 has transferred from the Reserve Fleet at Thanet to the main fleet at Herne Bay where it has ousted 17587 to the Reserve Fleet. Another Reserve Fleet vehicle transferred to the main fleet is Dart SLF 34732 at Hastings.

Dart SLF training vehicle 34660 is currently at Eastbourne, from Thanet.

Stagecoach South Wales

Dart SLF 34746 has moved from Blackwood to Caerphilly, whilst 34670/748 at Cwmbran have been allocated to the Brynmawr outstation. Optare Solos 47629/635 have also moved to the Brynmawr outstation, with 47528/640 moving to the main Cwmbran allocation.

Enviro 200 36773 has moved from Caerphilly to Blackwood in exchange for similar 36776. Also transferred from Blackwood to Caerphilly are 37172/174. Enviro 200 36795 has transferred from Merthyr Tydfil to Blackwood. Optare Solo 47203 has transferred from Blackwood to Caerphilly where it joins recently transferred 47197, and 47315 has transferred from Blackwood to Aberdare.

Following gearbox repairs, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44003 has been returned to service at Porth.

Optare Solo SR 47949 has finally arrived here. It was transferred from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire but went direct to VOSA for emissions testing. Now allocated to Caerphilly it carries the new ‘local’ livery. Also now in the new Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here is Scania/Enviro 300 28642.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Returned to Barnsley from Holbrook is Scania/Enviro 400 15660. All now delicensed here are Scania/Enviro 400 15662 at Ecclesfield and MAN/Enviro 300 22615 at Rawmarsh. In place of the latter, MAN/Enviro 22537 has returned to service at Rawmarsh. Former reserve Fleet Dart SLF 35108 is now for disposal here.

Transdev

Over this coming weekend Transdev will renumber some its fleet to standardise the fleet numbering series it uses. Detailed below are the changes,

  • 103/109/115/117 will become 1301-1304

  • 402-404/421/438-440 will become 2402-2404/2421/2438-240

  • 422-429 will become 2422-2429

  • 450-455 will become 1750-1755

  • 531/540/541/543/544/557/561/562/1001/1021/1024/1028-1030 are renumbered 1331-1344.

  • 567/568/573/574 will become 1061-1064

  • 1107/1108 will become 1201/1202

  • 2011/2012/2014 are renumbered 2806-2808.

On loan here, from Blackpool Transport are six Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centros. 1525, 1526, 1529 and 1530 are allocated to Rochdale, and 1531 and 1533 are allocated to Burnley.
