East Yorkshire

Delicensed here are the four remaining open top Volvo B7TLs, 891, 892, 893 and 895, from the operational fleet at Scarborough. Also delicensed are the seven Scania K410-E36 coaches, 1-7, from the National Express unit at Hull. Volvo B7TLs 671-674 from Scarborough have also have been delicensed, with one of these due to move to Pocklington as a staff rest area. 

Mercedes-Benz minibus 972 returned to the Oxford Bus Company on 12th November 2020.


Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

It is expected that 10.2m Enviro 200 36336 will transfer to this fleet from Stagecoach London next week. It will initially be allocated to Kendal before visiting Carlisle paint shop to receive ‘Lakes Connection’ livery.


Stagecoach East

The first vehicle in the fleet to receive ‘local’ livery is Enviro 200 MMC 37437 at Bedford, which up to now had carried the green and blue ‘Coasthopper’ for its original duties working out of the now closed Kings Lynn depot. It moved to Bedford upon closure of Kings Lynn depot and managed to avoid the paint shop for over two years.

Of note is that BYD/ADL Enviro 400 City electric buses, 14033/34, are currently spending ‘Lockdown 2’ working Park & Ride services.

Volvo B8L/Enviro 400 XLB 13912 has suffered severe damage after striking a low bridge near Cambridge Railway Station on Friday 13th November. The entire roof was ripped off in the collision. Luckily no one was injured, with only the driver and one passenger onboard at the time. It is one of the batch of 12 tri-axle double deckers (13901-912) delivered new to Fenstanton depot at the end of last year.


Stagecoach East Midlands

A further ‘Skegness Seasider’ to move into winter storage Dennis Trident/ALX400 17677 ‘Shelly the Seasider’, arrived at Grimsby depot on 13th November. All the open top vehicles in the company have now been delicensed, including those already noted as at Grimsby, and the remaining vehicles (Dennis Trident/ALX400 17013/015/673) believed to still be at Skegness. It is expected these remaining ‘Skegness Seasiders’ will head for winter storage at Mansfield.

An unusual move took place last week, with withdrawn MAN/ALX300 22379 being towed from Scunthorpe to Hull.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21274 has now returned to Grimsby, from Skegness, after a short period on loan last week. Dart SLF 34426 has moved from the operational to the reserve fleet at Skegness. Dart SLFs 34570 and 35135/136/144 have moved from the reserve fleet to Skegness main fleet, and 35147/148 have moved from Lincoln to the reserve fleet.

Other changes have seen Plaxton President 18031 move from the reserve fleet to Worksop, and Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21212 from Skegness has been delicensed.

A further vehicle here to receive the new ‘local’ livery here is Hull allocated Enviro 300 27198.

Meanwhile, Stagecoach Megabus Joint Venture fleet Volvo B12B/Plaxton Panthers 54077/079 have moved from the main fleet to reserve fleet at Hull.

Stagecoach Midlands

Pointer-bodied Dart SLFs remain operational with many Stagecoach UK operating companies but few depots can boast sizeable examples on their books. However, Kettering depot can where the allocation of 17 Dart SLFs comprises 35105/175-182/184/185/219/221/222/224-226. A further seven Dart SLFs, 34425/549/831/833/878/880 and 35186 are in the operational fleet at Rugby whilst in the Strategic Reserve Fleet and parked at Rugby are seven examples (34421/422/424/533/771/773/835).

Further changes during this month have seen Enviro 400 MMC 10726-732 move from Leamington Spa to Northampton, with Enviro 200s 37038-040/054/059/063/073 moving in the opposite direction.

Stagecoach North East

Latest repaints here in ‘local’ livery are Enviro 300s 27253 and 27726.

Stagecoach Oxfordshire

We have received a suggestion that after the transfer to this fleet from Stagecoach London of 10.2m Enviro 200 36330, that are further three examples are to follow. These are expected to be 36331/332/337. If this is the case, then the 4 10.2m Enviro 200s are expected to allow Optare Solos 47451/658/735/736 to be taken out of service. When we know more details of this, they will be posted here.


Stagecoach South Wales

The latest vehicles to receive ‘local’ livery here are Methyr Tydfil’s Wright Streetlite 43006, and Caerphilly’s Optare Solo SR 47951.

Stagecoach West

Former 'Gold’ liveried MAN/Enviro 300 22747 has been repainted into ‘local’ livery at Gloucester as part of its accident damage repairs. Cheltenham allocated Enviro 200 36386 has also received the ‘local’ livery.

The first double decker in the fleet to receive ‘local’ livery is Enviro 400 19165, which previously carried Magic Bus following its transfer from Stagecoach Manchester earlier this year. This has also become the first vehicle allocated to Swindon to receive the new livery.

North Bristol allocated Dennis Trident/ALX400 18420 has become the first double decker in the entire Stagecoach UK operation to gain the new white and ocean green ‘specialist’ livery.
