East Yorkshire

Currently in the bodyshop here is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 719, whilst in the paintshop is Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro 361. Recently repainted is Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse-Gemini 747.


Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Megabus Van Hool coaches 50304 and 50308, which had been in the Stagecoach West domestic Private Hire fleet, are now in the Reserve Fleet.


Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Former Schoolrunner Volvo B10M/Alexander PS saloons 20711 and 20712 have been sold to T Wigley (dealer).

Latest repaints into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400 Hybrids 12207 and 12208, Enviro 300 27142, and Enviro 200 37107.


Stagecoach East

The final two Volvo B11R/Plaxton elite coaches here, 54304 and 54309, have now transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland. Open Top Volvo B5TL/Wright Gemini 13809/810/811 have been stood down for the Winter period whilst similar 13808 and 13812 remain on loan to Stagecoach London and 13813 at Stagecoach South West.

A further Enviro 400 transferred from Cambridge to Bedford is 19576. Former Stagecoach London short Enviro 200s 36306/3073/308/322 have now been allocated to the main fleet at Bedford. Enviro 400s 19591 (at Peterborough) and 19706 (at Bedford) have been transferred into the Strategic Reserve Fleet pending long term repairs.

Service reductions as a result of driver shortages have seen a number of vehicles transferred into the Reserve Fleet. These are the following:
Bedford: Enviro 400s 19594/597/698 and Enviro 200s 36935/937.
Cambridge: ADL Enviro 400MMCs (P&R Fleet) 10789/796/805/806/807.
Peterborough: Enviro 200s 36934/936 and 37213/217/219.

Other displaced Enviro 400s from Peterborough and Cambridge were transferred to Bedford as replacements for the Volvo B11R/elite coaches which have all now left the fleet. The Enviro400 MMCs in the Reserve Fleet at Cambridge are expected to be prepared for transfer to Bedford. The latest changes here leave just eight standard Enviro 400s on the allocation at Cambridge - 19164/585/586/588/589/590/592/593.


Stagecoach East Midlands

Two BYD/Enviro 200EV (B32F) buses are on lease from Nottinghamshire County Council and are allocated to Mansfield, for a new contract when commenced on 6th November. They carry fleet numbers 30016 and 30017 and are registered LG71DJD/E.

The remaining operational open top vehicles at Skegness, Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Geminis 16964/66, Trident/ALX400s 17015/016/677/678 and 18473, and Enviro 400 19169, are now in winter hibernation. Following repairs Scania/Enviro 400s 15616 and 15808, along with Enviro 400 19210, have returned to service at Skegness. Reserve Fleet Scania/Enviro 400s 15510 and 15511 are also now in the main fleet at Skegness. Dart SLF training bus 34457 has transferred from Mansfield to Worksop.

Changes at Scunthorpe with effect from 24th November 2021 saw Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16907, Dart SLF 35138 and MAN/Enviro 300 22869 delicensed with Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16915 and Dart SLF 35138 now for disposal. Confirmed allocations to Scunthorpe are Enviro 300s 27757 and 27882 from Hull.

A number of Enviro 400 MMCs and Scania/Enviro 400s from Worksop, Mansfield and Hull, spent last week on loan at Lincoln to provide additional services for the annual Lincoln Christmas Market. To provide cover for this at Hull, Enviro 300s 27191/764/785 and Enviro 200s 37200/203 were sent on loan from Grimsby.

Now out of service at Lincoln, after sustaining fire damage on the morning of 25th November, is ‘Local’ livered Trident/ALX400 18431. On a more positive note, similar 18122 (which is out of service after sustaining accident damage) is now under repair at Lincoln depot.

Further repaints into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here are Enviro 200s 37203 and 37208, and repainted into Stagecoach ‘Specialist’ livery is MAN/Enviro 300 24195. MAN/Enviro 200 39690 has now received branding for its use as a NHS Covid Testing Unit. ‘Local’ liveried Enviro 200s 36523 and 37004, at Lincoln, have yet to return to service after repaint.

Stagecoach East Scotland

Stagecoach Group has confirmed that its first full scale autonomous bus operation is due to start in early Summer 2022 and will connect Ferrytoll Park & Ride site with Edinburgh Park Transport Hub, operating across the Forth Crossing. It will have a peak vehicle requirement of four buses from a fleet of five 11.8m ADL Enviro 200MMCs, 26326- 30 (registered YX69NUH/O/P/U/V) which have been in store since delivery and first registration in December 2019. The vehicles will carry a special livery.

Former Oxford Tube Van Hool Astromegas 50272 and 50274, which transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland for Scottish Citylink work, are being returned to Stagecoach West (at Oxford), with 50272 at the Network Oxford parking site on 18th November 2021.

Volvo B11R/Plaxton elite coaches 54311-318, received here from Stagecoach East will be allocated to Aberhill as replacements for Volvo B9R/Levante coaches 53731-738. 54314 had received Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery and was in service at Aberhill by 23rd November 2021. The final two Volvo B11R/Plaxton elite coaches remaining with Stagecoach East, 54304 and 54309, have now transferred here.

MAN/Enviro 300s 22867 and 22871 have been stood down into the Reserve Fleet at Arbroath and replaced by Enviro 200 MMCs 26113 and 26114 transferred across from St Andrews. Enviro 300 27600 is in the Reserve Fleet at Perth whilst 27605 and 27607 have been placed in the Reserve Fleet at Perth ahead of transfer to Arbroath. Optare Solo 47392 has returned to service at Arbroath following repairs with 47607 now stood down for repairs. 47609 from Glenrothes is now for disposal. Also in the Reserve Fleet at Perth is Volvo B9R 53717, whilst Volvo B13R 54110 is now back on the main fleet at Glenrothes and 54127 is in the Reserve Fleet at Arbroath, following a period on loan to Stagecoach Highlands. Optare Solo SR 47955 has transferred to St Andrews from Arbroath.


Stagecoach London

Enviro 200 36345 has transferred from West Ham to Barking.

New BYD/Enviro 400City EV 14153/158/160/161 had been delivered by mid-November 2021. Information from the company suggests that the Transport for London-owned Routemasters stored here following the end of the 15H Heritage service (RMs 324, 652, 871, 1933, 1941, 1968, 2050, 2060, 2071, and 2089) will be sold by auction.


Stagecoach Manchester

Now for disposal here, from the Reserve Fleet, is Optare Solo 47670. Optare Solo SR 48023 is now allocated to Middleton.

Enviro 400 MMC 10446 has been repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery.


Stagecoach Midlands

Dart SLF 34425, which had been at Rugby and listed for disposal, had been transferred and pressed back into service at Kettering by mid-November 2021, as a replacement for 35221 which is now for disposal. Trident/ALX400 18151 has returned to service at Northampton following repairs. MAN Enviro 300 22841 has now entered service at Kettering, along with Dart SLF 34421. Enviro 200 36949 is a transfer from Nuneaton to Rugby, whilst Dart SLF 34831 has been returned to service at Rugby.

Repainted into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery here is Enviro 200 36219, with similar 36218 currently in the paintshop at Rugby.


Stagecoach North East

MAN/Enviro 200 39709 has been withdrawn from service at Hartlepool and is now for disposal whilst Enviro 200 36082 (also from Hartlepool) has been delicensed.

Dart SLFs 34605 (from the Reserve Fleet) and 35234 (recently transferred from Stagecoach Yorkshire) are now in the main fleet at Hartlepool.


Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

New Volvo B8R/MCV eVoRas 12.8m 21360-377 and shorter 39501-505 are now allocated to Kirkwall (Orkney).

Service reductions and displaced vehicles from Orkney has resulted in Enviro 300s 27515/535/536/597; Optare Solo 47566, Optare Solo SR 47813; Volvo B7Rs 53304/309/314/318 and Volvo B9Rs 53607/615 being moved into the Reserve Fleet.

Enviro 300s 27805/807/808 from Kirkwall have all been stood down for MOT preparation work. Reserve Fleet Volvo B7R 53334 is now for disposal. Volvo B9R 53606 is now allocated as a training bus at Inverness with 53613 performing a similar role at Kirkwall. Former Stagecoach London Enviro 200s 36324 and 36583 are now allocated to Inverness, whilst 36953 has returned to service and is allocated to Thurso.

Volvo B9R 53616 is a transfer from Kirkwall to Tain; Enviro 400 19031 from Inverness to Aviemore; Enviro 300 27913 from Tain to Inverness and Optare Solo SR 47814 from Kirkwall to Tain.


Stagecoach South

Worthing allocated Enviro 400 MMC 10965 has been named Mark Damario.

At Aldershot, Trident/ALX400 18524 has been withdrawn from service after sustaining accident damage and has been replaced by similar 18194.


Stagecoach South East

Following conversion to single door layout, former Stagecoach London short ADL Enviro 200 36365 has entered service at Ashford.

Now in service at Herne Bay is Dart SLF 34544.


Stagecoach South West

Dart SLF 35134 has been scrapped whilst 34607 and 35264 have been sold.

Further repaints into Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery are Scania/Enviro 400s 15255 and 15256, whilst now repainted into a new Training Fleet livery (a blue and yellow version of ‘Local’ livery) is Dart SLF 34689.

Stagecoach West

Oxford Tube Volvo B11/Plaxton Panorama 50431 was at Stagecoach Manchester’s Hyde Road depot on 17th November 2021, and was in the area for a filming requirement.

Further repaints into Stagecoach ‘Local’ livery are Scania/Enviro 400 15529 and Enviro 200s 37240, whilst Scania/Enviro 400 19638 has lost its ‘Stagecoach West 25th Anniversary’ commemorative wrap but has gained an all-over wrap for Cirencester College (the front is in ‘Local’ livery). Repainted into Stagecoach ‘Distance’ livery is Scania/Enviro 400 15859. Vehicles currently away for repaint are Scania/Enviro 400s 15528 and 15763, and Enviro 200s 36258 and 36394.

Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 34618 at Banbury has been transferred to the main fleet at Swindon. Enviro 200 37010 from Stroud is now for disposal having suffered fire damage whilst the remains of 36126 have been sold. Enviro 200 36771 has transferred from Oxford to Stroud as a replacement for 37010.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Sold to A H Hardwick (dealer) are MAN/ALX300s 22423/426/449; MAN/Enviro 300s 22535/540; Dart SLFs 35110/227/229 and Optare Solos 47320/322/325. Now for disposal are Dart SLFs 35109 and 35232. Stood down for repairs is Enviro 200 37089 from Holbrook, whilst now at Ecclesfield are Scania/Enviro 400s 15660/661 from Barnsley and 15696 from Chesterfield.

A large number of vehicles have been moved into the Reserve Fleet here following service reductions as a result of driver shortages. These comprise:
Barnsley: MAN/Enviro 300 22618 and Enviro 200s 36179/181.
Chesterfield: MAN/Enviro 300s 22548/613/614 and Enviro 200s 36177/178.
Ecclesfield: Enviro 200s 36186-192/408-413. 
Holbrook: Enviro 200s 36720-726/994-996.
Rawmarsh: MAN/Enviro 300s 22537-539/541/545/550/616.

The six MAN/Enviro 300s due here from Stagecoach West Scotland (24183-188) have all had the Euro6 modification and are due to be allocated to Rawmarsh.
