Arriva Midlands

Optare Versas 2951-2958 have all transferred from Thurmaston to Arriva Shires & Essex (High Wycombe), whilst 2964 has transferred from Shrewsbury to Tamworth. Enviro 400 MMCs 4501-4506 and 4526 have transferred from Thurmaston to Arriva Southern Counties (Maidstone). Enviro 200 4036 is on loan from Hemel Hempstead at Oswestry, whilst Volvo B9TL 4224 has been withdrawn at Derby.

DAF SB200/Wright Commanders formerly used on the East Midlands Airport contract have moved on for driver training use, with 3483 and 3486 at Luton, and 3484 and 3498 at Arriva Southern Counties (Northfleet). Brand new Enviro 200 MMCs 3145-3152 are now at Thurmaston.

Latest repaints are Wright Streetlite DF 3300, VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 3808 and ADL Enviro 400 MMC 4529 at Thurmaston, and ADL Enviro 400s 4409 and 4415 at Tamworth. The latter pair complete the batch of buses allocated to route 110.

Centrebus Group

Optare Solo 281 has transferred from Grantham to High Peak. Transferred from High Peak to Centrebus at Leicester are Scania Omnilinks 726 and 727.

New at High Peak are Enviro 200 MMCs 534, 535 and 536, currently in base red and seeing use on the Skyline 199, where they’ve ousted Mercedes Citaro 803 to Leicester, and 810 for withdrawal.

One of the oldest buses in this fleet, Dennis Dart 555 has received a repaint into fleet livery at Grantham.

D&G Bus

Optare Solo SRs 104 and 106 have temporarily moved from Adderley Green to High Peak Buses, in exchange for Enviro 200s 593 and 594.

Diamond

Optare Solo SR 20027, along with Mercedes Mellor Stratas 21215 and 21216 have transferred from Redditch to Tividale, whilst Optare Solo 20913 and Wright Streetlite DF 32256 have transferred from Redditch to Kidderminster. Enviro 200s 21106, 30964, 30966 and Wright Streetlite DF 32257 have transferred from Tividale to Kidderminster, Dennis Dart 30888 has transferred from Tividale to Redditch, and Optare Versa 30967 has transferred from Tividale to Burton.

Optare Solo 20490 from Tividale, Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 30907 from Burton have been withdrawn. Optare Solo 20010 and Scania Enviro 300 30913 have all been scrapped, the latter with RTC damage.

Wright Streetlite DFs 32315, 32316, 32317 and 32323 have all lost their route 16 branding at Tividale.

Wright Streetlite DF 20177 has transferred from Tividale to Diamond South East (Stanwell).

East Yorkshire

Volvo B9TLs 740, 741, and 742 have been relicensed, and are operating from Hull (740 and 742) and Scarborough (741). Enviro 200MMC 506 has transferred from Hull to Bridlington, swapping places with Enviro 200 284. Stood down from service and delicensed are Volvo B7TLs 702 and 708.

Enviro 200 287 has left this fleet, moving to Oxford Bus Company. Volvo B7TLs 703, 704 and 706 are further vehicles of the type to be sold to Ellie Rose Travel.

First Midlands

The remaining Volvo B7TLs have all been withdrawn at Adderley Green, being ALX400 bodied 32066 and 32067, and Wright Gemini bodied 32627, 32630, 32634, 32635, 32639, 32647, 32649, 32650, 37146, 37156, 37157 and 37160. Of these 37146, 37156, 37157 and 37160 have passed to Reliance Buses for onward service.

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse 2 69449 is a further Salt Road livery example repainted into the new Worcester City livery.

Megabus/Scottish Citylink

Van Hool ‘Gold’ coaches 50305/310/311 in the Stagecoach West Scotland fleet have been sold, whilst Van Hool Astromegas 50270/273 from the Stagecoach East Scotland fleet have been sold to West Coast Motors.

Caetano Levantes 59223/227/228 have moved from Stagecoach West at North Bristol to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire Gilmoss depot.

National Express West Midlands

Enviro 200 753 has transferred from Wolverhampton to Pensnett, whilst 762-764 have transferred from West Bromwich to Wolverhampton. Volvo B7RLE 2060 is a new addition in the training fleet, from Wolverhampton. Scania Omnilinks 1788, 1790 and 1792 are currently at Yardley Wood from Acocks Green, whilst 1860 and 1887 are at West Bromwich from Walsall, though aren’t set to remain at these depots in the long term. Similar 1889 has transferred from Walsall to Perry Barr, and 1909, 1948 and 1949 from Perry Barr to Yardley Wood.

Further Enviro 400s to leave Coventry are 4768 to West Bromwich, 4774 to Yardley Wood, and 4834 to Pensnett. Similar 4922-4926 have transferred from Yardley Wood to Birmingham Central. Enviro 400 MMC 6106 has transferred from Pensnett to Acocks Green, whilst 7513 and 7514 have transferred from Perry Barr to Birmingham Central.

Further deliveries of BYD Enviro 400 EVs for Coventry are E076, 083, 087, 088, 091, 093, 096, 098, 100, 102, 107, 115, 120, 122, 125, 128, 132 and 133. The Wright Streetdeck Electroliner demonstrator LY71GJE has arrived here on loan, numbered 4798, and will be allocated to Yardley Wood depot for use on route 6 for approximately 4 weeks.

Latest buses to be sent for scrap are Volvo B7TL/ALX400s 4283, 4289, 4295 and Dennis Tridents 4410, 4411, 4425, 4431, 4446 and 4572.
Now withdrawn from service are Scania Omnilinks 1797 from Acocks Green, and 1823, 1832 from Perry Barr. Volvo B7TL/Wright Geminis 4529, 4530, 4532, 4533, 4534, 4637, 4649 from Acocks Green, and 4662, 4670 from Coventry, and Dennis Trident 4541 from Wolverhampton.

Volvo B10L/Wright Liberator 1432, formerly a driver training vehicle, has been sold for preservation. Volvo B7TL/Wright Geminis 4666 and 4671 from Coventry have been sold to The Bus Works for onward sale.

Latest repaints into grey fleet livery are ADL Enviro 200s 839 and 843 at Coventry, Volvo B7RLE 2019 at Wolverhampton and ADL Enviro 200 MMC 2221 at Acocks Green.

Seaford & District

Now in service here is Dart SLF GX54DVY, which carries fleet number 402 and has been reregistered as SE53SEA.

Select Bus Services

Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse 2 BD14KXU has entered service here as number 8, and repainted into fleet livery. It has replaced VDL SB120/Plaxton Centro FJ56YBV, with similar BA07GHA numbered 4 also withdrawn.

Enviro 200 YX13BNU, numbered 15, has received a vinyl wrap for Travel Telford for use on route 101. Similar YX65RHJ is another acquisition, last with HCT Group, now numbered 38 and carrying fleet livery.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire

Sold out of this fleet during January 2023 were Trident 18327, Volvo B10M 20280, MAN/Enviro 300s 22872/876/880 and Optare Solos 47009 and 47130.

Now transferred from Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird) is Solo 47490, which is in service at West Cumbria. Recent arrivals from Stagecoach Yorkshire are Enviro 200s 36182 and 36183, which are to be allocated to West Cumbria.

Stagecoach East

Following the end of the ‘ting’ Demand Responsive Transport scheme, Mercedes Benz-Sprinters 44008 and 44016 are being prepared for transfer to Stagecoach South East, with 44011/019/020 due to transfer to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire.

Returned to service here at Bedford, are Enviro 400 19706 and Enviro 200 36301.

Now repainted into ‘Local’ livery is Enviro 400 19164.

Stagecoach East Midlands

Trident 17730 has been returned to the main operating fleet at Mansfield (moving out of their reserve allocation). Training Fleet Enviro 300s 27575 and 27579 now carry a red version of the ‘Local’ livery, and have been allocated to Lincoln (27575) and Worksop (27579), whilst training fleet MAN/Enviro 300 22742 is also allocated to Lincoln.

A further note about Enviro 200 MMCs 26263 and 26272, which are currently only on loan at Mansfield. It is planned that they will return to Hull once Mansfield receives its share of brand new Enviro 400 MMCs (11762-769). We also understand that once Stagecoach North East receive their order of new Enviro 400 MMCs that some vehicles will be released to Mansfield to help replace the remaining ALX400 and Plaxton President bodied Tridents. Now repainted into ‘Local’ livery here is Enviro 400 19116.

For disposal here are Volvo B7TL 16941, Trident 18430, and Dart SLFs 34457/464/702. Withdrawn Enviro 200 36007 is reported as sold to GTG Training.

Stagecoach East Scotland

Volvo B9R 53724 has been sold to Ensign Bus, whilst Enviro 400 10006 has been scrapped (fire damaged).

Former Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands) Trident 18449 and Enviro 400 19043 are allocated to Blairgowrie, whilst Optare Solo 47485 from Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird) is at Arbroath.

Enviro 200 MMC 26114 is away for long term repair at Ferrymill Motors with Enviro 300 27600 being allocated to Aberhill as a replacement.

Stagecoach London

Scania Omnicity 15009 and 15010 are now training vehicles at West Ham, with similar 15007 and 15008 expected to follow. 15002/003/004/006/012/014/015/016/019 are for City Sightseeing conversion.

Scania Omnicitys 15011 and 15119 have been sold to Ensign Bus, whilst similar 15034 has been sold to T Wigley (dealer).

Stagecoach Manchester

Enviro 400s transferred to Hyde Road are 19470/473 (from Ashton) and 19397/399/403/405/414 (from Sharston). Enviro 200 36077 has transferred from Stockport to Ashton whilst Optare Solo SRs 48024/025 have moved from Ashton to Stockport.

Vehicles recently delicensed are Enviro 400 Hybrid 12124 and Enviro 400s 19396, 19423 and 19631.

Latest repaints reported here are of Enviro 400 MMCs 10467 and 10626 into ‘Local’ livery.

Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire

All three Optare Versas in the fleet, 25218/220/221 are now in the Reserve Fleet at Preston.

The final training MAN/ALX300, 22079, has been withdrawn and is now for disposal. Withdrawn Tridents 18326/365 have now been sold out of this fleet.

Stagecoach Midlands

Now in service at Kettering, following transfer from Stagecoach East last year, are Enviro 200s 36044, 36062 and 36063. Enviro 200s 37044 and 37045 have transferred to Nuneaton from Northampton, with Enviro 200s 37050 and 37052 transferring to Rugby from Northampton, and 36208 returning to Rugby from Nuneaton. Enviro 200 37051 has moved from Rugby to Nuneaton, and 36157 and 37053 have transferred from Rugby to Leamington. Additional Enviro 200s transferred from Stagecoach Manchester are Enviro 200s 36424-430/480-485.

Now out of use and for disposal is MAN/ALX300 training bus 22375 at Nuneaton. Withdrawal authority has now been issued for Scania Omnidekkas 15404/405, joining 15401 and 15403 on ‘borrowed time’. Dart SLFs 34421/422/424 and 35175/180 at Kettering are all now withdrawn and are stored at Corby where previously withdrawn 34425, 35176 and MAN/Enviro 300s 22832/835/837 are also awaiting disposal. Withdrawn from the fleet at Rugby are Dart SLFs 34831 and 35186.

Further repaints into ‘Local’ livery are Enviro 400 MMC 10726, Scania/Enviro 300 28621, and Enviro 200s 36845 and 36949. Dart SLF 34880 has been repainted into a blue version of ‘Local’ livery for use as a driver training vehicle.

Stagecoach North East

Enviro 300s 27249/250/251/253/254 have transferred to Slatyford, with MAN/Enviro 300s 22887, and 24120/122/169 being allocated to Stockton as replacements.

Sold out of this fleet are MAN/Enviro 200 39671 and MAN/ALX300 22018.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird)

Volvo B9R 53640 has been sold to Moffat & Williamson, whilst Optare Solo 47484 has also been sold.

Former Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands) Enviro 200s 36197, 36583 and 37076 have been allocated to Peterhead.

Now for disposal are Enviro 300H Hybrids 29001-019, whilst 29020-022 remain in the reserve fleet at Aberdeen.

Optare Solos 47485/489 are for transfer to Stagecoach East Scotland whilst 47490 has transferred to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire.

Stagecoach North Scotland (Highlands)

Departures from this fleet are of Enviro 400 19043 and Optare Solo 47811 to Stagecoach East Scotland, Enviro 300s 27631/632/796/805/809/812/912/914 to Stagecoach North East, Enviro 200s 36955/56 and 37253/254/259 to Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird), and Mercedes-Benz Sprinters 44022/025 to Stagecoach South Wales, whilst withdrawn Volvo B7R coach 53275 has left the fleet.

Sold out of this fleet are Volvo B9R 53714 and Volvo B7RLEs 21203/204/206/207.

Now for disposal are Volvo B9Rs 53621/622, Trident 18446 and Enviro 400 19041.

Stagecoach South

Disposals to Ensign Bus (all due to go to Shelton Metals for scrap) are Trident 17740; Dart SLFs 35117-121/123/124/127/151/152/214/215/250/251/258-260; Enviro 200s 36014/024/027/030/432; MAN/Enviro 200s 39652-656; MAN/Enviro 300s 22743/750/851/852/857/858/862; and Optare Solos 47542/626.

Andover Trident 18188 has now transferred to Guildford, whilst now reinstated back into service are similar 18064 at Chichester, and 18066 at Guildford. For disposal are Enviro 400 19039 (which has major accident damage) and Enviro 200 36020.

Latest repaint here is of Trident 18188 into ‘Local’ livery.

Stagecoach South East

Scania Omnicitys 15023/37 are now part of the fleet and are due to be converted for driver training use.

A large number of Reserve Fleet vehicles have now been approved for disposal including Enviro 300 27577; Dart SLFs 34440/482/498/542/650/652/655/659/697/771/779/789/791, and 35102 and Optare Solos 47066/067/110/112/115/375/663/666/679/683.

Vehicles sold to T Wigley (Dealer) are Enviro 300 training bus 27516, Dart SLFs 34434 and 35237, and Optare Solos 47117/165/481/669. Also now sold is Trident 18166.

Stagecoach South West

A further Enviro 200 MMC to move to Plymouth is 37470, being exchanged with Exeter for Enviro 200 37113.

Now for disposal are Enviro 400 19110 and Optare Solo 47444 . Sold out of this fleet are Dart SLFs 34609/613/729/860/861/862/863/868/871/872/874 and 35243/265 along with open top Trident 17701 and Routemaster 19951.

Stagecoach West

Training fleet Dart SLF 34817 is now in used at Swindon depot.

Now listed for disposal are Oxford Tube Van Hool Astromegas 50267/268/269.

Stagecoach West Scotland

Enviro 300 27580 has become a training vehicle and is now part of the training fleet at Kilmarnock.

Stagecoach Yorkshire

Enviro 200 36409 has taken up duties as a training bus at Holbrook displacing MAN/ALX300 22085, which is now for disposal.

Optare Solo 47464 has transferred from Ecclesfield to Chesterfield replacing 47321 which has moved into the Reserve Fleet.

Leaving this fleet are Enviro 200s 36182 and 36183, which have transferred to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire.

Wellglade Group

Expected here are 15 Enviro 400s, which have been purchased from Lothian Buses. It is expected that they will be split between TM Travel (10) and Notts & Derby (5).
